One Year On From The Wedding That Was | Cimon + Vince

We can’t believe it has been a whole year since we planned, styled and were the matron of honor in the wedding that was… the wedding of our sister and renowned Adelaide stylist Cimon, to her partner of 14 years, Vince Reveruzzi.

After the gorgeous ceremony held at St Patrick’s Church on Grote Street, we treated the bridal party to a little lunch and afternoon drink at Chicco Palms between the ceremony and reception. Aside from being the perfect photo stop, it was a lovely way to relax and get into the celebratory spirit. We styled the tables with black napkins and customised swizzle sticks in the Aperol Spritzes that awaited the bridal party on arrival.

With both Cimon and Vince both coming from Italian backgrounds, it was important to the couple that we incorporated their Italian heritage into the styling and vibe of the day, mixing traditional elements with a touch of modern. To keep inline with this, we chose a deep colour palette that flowed throughout the ceremony and reception, from flowers, to centrepieces, napkins and wedding stationary.

Continuing to mix traditional elements with modern touches, Cimon and Vince chose to have their reception at Adelaide Town Hall, opting for a traditional round table layout, mixed with a long bridal table. Each table featured a gold centrepiece topped with flowers by Botanic Poetry, while the bridal table featured our crushed red velvet, paired with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers that matched Cimon’s bridal bouquet by Bizarro. Taupe napkins were paired with classic silverware on white tablecloths, which really made all of the elements pop.

To keep guest’s drinks topped up throughout the night, we had pop-up bars installed throughout the venue, allowing easy access to drinks no matter where you were sat in the large venue space. Apart from the added connivence, this touch meant the party was going as soon as guests entered the reception, after pre-dinner Aperol Spritz and grazing table nibbles.

so, How did we help?
