Celebrating our 4th birthday & an illustrious 2021 so far!
Just when we thought we knew what was coming in 2021 after a tumultuous 2020, little did we know the emotional roller coaster of being an event and styling collective was just getting started! With surprise snap-lockdowns, restrictions ever-changing and the event industry taking another back seat, we knew that the way events were being held around South Australia would change forever.
As The Stylist’s Guide’s 4th Birthday approaches on October 24, we can’t help but take this time to reflect on how this year has been one of our favourites – a little pandemic won’t dampen our spirits!
What has been one of the key highlights so far is launching our very own studio space in the heart of Adelaide’s little Italy – Felixstow!
It has been a dream of ours since conception, so having a studio that offers our clients a place to relax as they plan their special event, a collaborative space to work alongside suppliers, while embodying all things TSG, has been truly magical. We hope to have a little celebration in the studio soon with our loved ones, suppliers and clients – keep your eyes on our socials for the BTS.
Another high point for this year was being part of executing the Rewards Wonder Launch in June, partnering with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) which took place in the gorgeous Mount Gambier by the Kilsby Sinkhole.
Special guests were treated to a long lunch under a marvellous marquee to launch a new campaign to showcase South Australia’s incredible natural landscape and highlight the world-renowned Kilsby Sinkhole as a jumping-off point for the campaign (pun intended)!
Collaborating with SATC, Adelaide Flower House, Jaks Hire and Events, Modern Party and Soul Projects SA was a dream come true for the TSG team – not only was the location breath-taking, but the tribe of local suppliers made this event more wondrous and wanderlust-worthy than any international travel could offer.

Despite going through the whirlwind of an ongoing pandemic, TSG has had quite a year when it comes to event styling and coordination.
We curated and executed events close to our heart such as Cimon’s 30th Birthday and Santino’s 2nd Birthday, as well as creatively-centred events with Boffo Real Estate, Elixir Skin Fitness and corporate functions, alongside our passionately-produced baby and bridal showers, brand launches, and of course, the multitude of weddings and engagement parties!
