Celebrating love and friendship with The Stylist's Guide

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we wanted to share some insight into one of our most recent jobs Eleanor’s Bridal Shower , a day full of so much love.

Since we began The Stylist’s Guide, one of our director’s oldest and closest friends Eleanor has been such a big supporter of the business. She’s been there to cheer us on from the sidelines, ever since The Stylist’s Guide was just a far off dream. So, it was only fitting that we threw her a picture perfect bridal shower.

Alyse says,  “it is always an honour to be part of so many people's events, but when your family and friends ask you to be part of it in such a small way, it’s a wonderful feeling. Especially because you know that they trust you and they have left it all in your hands”.  

Due to covid-19, bride to be Eleanor had to postpone her big day, meaning that all of her wedding planning, and festivities had to be rescheduled. Luckily we were there to help out her maid of honour pull off a beautiful bridal shower, with just one request from the bride… lots of colour!

Those who have been following us for a while now, know that colour is very much our thing - so we were more than excited to get planning. Keeping to The Stylist’s Guide signature minimalistic style, we created a bright, fun and summer spritz style bridal shower for the bride-to-be, featuring a warm colour palette of pink and yellow hues, mixed in with the colour of the season - lilac. Melt at Henley provided the perfect venue for the styling, tying in seamlessly with the restaurant’s mid century modern interior.
