Our 2022 Highlight Reel!
Just like that in just a blink, we’re at the end of 2022!
Though this year has absolutely flown by, here at The Stylist’s Guide we consider ourselves to truly be the luckiest to have been involved in so many magical events this year.
As our last blog post for 2022, it would only be fair to wrap it up by highlighting our favourite events of the year. To shake it up a bit, these are the top events tied in with our favourite offerings!
Creative Direction — Mercato
Venue — Plant 4 Bowden
Our brief was to honour Mercato’s authentic Italian heritage while throwing them a party that was worthy of 50 years of incredible business. The team at The Stylist’s Guide worked closely with the Mercato team to pull together an extraordinary event that received a “wow” from each guest! Our favourite part of this event was the amazing welcome activation featuring a Fiat 500 set with flowers and chocolates — it was one hell of a welcome.
Private Event Styling — Amalfi Coast Party
Venue — Private Residence
It was a race against time to put together a unique version of a much-loved party theme; Amalfi Coast. We have only two weeks to create the sleek and chic event we executed, with all the fun fit for a 15-year-old. This birthday felt so much like a trip to the Amalfi Coast, it didn’t feel like a minute of work!
Wedding Styling— Chen and Shirley
Venue — Sequoia Lodge, Mount Lofty House
Elegant and romantic; the wedding of Chen and Shirley was a magical day indeed. With a list of only 32 guests, the wedding was an intimate affair full of whimsical floral arrangements, beautiful stationery and just the right amount of candles. It was such an enchanting event and we’re so blessed that our clients trusted our vision, and allowed us to be a part of their special day.
Creative Consultation — Westfield Bears Picnic
Venue — Westfield Tea Tree Plaza
Each school holiday season, we are so lucky to be engaged by Westfield Tea Tree Plaza to create an activation for school holiday fun. It’s no surprise that we love children’s events at The Stylist’s Guide, and this Teddy Bear Picnic-themed school holiday activity was by far our standout. Complete with a personalised pack for each child including a customised colouring book and a cutout bear — we loved watching the kid's faces light up as they beheld this activation.
Corporate Event Styling — Boffo Mid Year Awards
Venue — Eos Sky City Ballroom
Set in the luxurious ballroom at EOS Sky City, A Night in Havana was a night to remember! After putting on many events with the team at Boffo previously, we knew we had to raise the bar. Show-stopping tropical flower arrangements with furniture to match created an incredible atmosphere — and let's not forget the mesmerising entrance from Latin Dancers which we assisted with.
If you couldn’t already tell, we love to throw parties, celebrations and good times. We were so lucky at The Stylist’s Guide to work with a wide variety of amazing clients who each brought such unique visions. We are so thankful to be entrusted with the creation of your event!
