With Valentine's Day fast approaching, we thought it would be a good time to share with you the details behind one of our recent events - Maree and James' engagement party, 'Til Death.
You got it, the theme of the night was 'Til Death, a modern take on 'until death do us part'. Given the event was being held at Plant 4 Bowden, we decided to incorporate an industrial theme to the evening, using rose gold, white, blush pink and a touch of silver.
Prior to my meeting with Maree, I had recently visited the NGV in Melbourne. I took some of my inspiration from their exhibition at the time “The House of Dior”. With the gallery being a little industrial, while hosting such a stunning and classy exhibition, I wanted to incorporate these elements into Maree and James’ special night. Once I met with Maree to discuss the event, her favourite things, and of course her relationship with hubby to be, the first thing that popped into my head was “The House of Dior”. I spent endless nights researching ways to style and make this the most perfect night for Maree and James.

What came of this industrial yet classy styling was perfect matrimony...
Gothic style candles lined the industrial mesh fencing that frames the upstairs area, while our collection of balloons from Party on Paper made for the perfect photo backdrop, and classy centrepiece to the room.
To finish off the space, EC by That Creative Co helped us put together some gorgeous hanging flower arrangements, which tied everything together beautifully.
Congratulations again to the love birds Maree and James, we can't wait for the wedding!
