Today, hear from one of our real wedding couples, Katrina and Michael, as we talk with them about their Stylist’s Guide journey.
Married earlier this year in January, Katrina and Michael engaged us to bring their romantic wedding day to life. Assisting them with all the styling elements and on-the-day coordination we loved being on this journey with this beautiful couple!
TSG: What lead you to engage The Stylist's Guide for your wedding styling, styling planning, and on-the-day coordination?
K & M: We had previously worked with The Stylist’s Guide for our daughter’s christening a few months prior to our wedding and we realised that we’d need assistance with styling elements and on-the-day coordination for our special day as well.
TSG: How did you find the process of working with The Stylist's Guide from the initial consult through to the wedding?
K & M: When first meeting with Alyse in the lead-up to our daughter’s christening I felt like we were in good hands and the whole process was made super easy. From then we knew The Stylist’s Guide needed to be a part of our wedding as well! The whole team was great at liaising with our suppliers and they made us feel at ease, especially in the week leading up to the wedding when we were very worried about the weather forecast.
TSG: What blew you away on your wedding day when you saw it for the first time?
K & M: We were blown away by our ceremony floral installation, it was just stunning! It created the perfect backdrop for when we said: “I do”. These floral arrangements were also used for our bridal table, adding to the romantic, dreamy vibe of the reception set-up. The Stylist’s Guide X Adelaide Flower House collab outdid themselves with our florals!
TSG: What is one piece of advice you have for brides planning their dream wedding?
K & M: If you have your heart set on certain suppliers, reach out to them early on in the planning process to avoid disappointment.
